When to See Us
Deciding when to consult a psychiatric care professional involves conducting an honest self-assessment of your symptoms and day-to-day experiences. While self-diagnosing specific mental health conditions is not advisable, you can observe and note behaviors, emotions, and thought patterns that are unhealthy and disruptive to your everyday life.
It’s crucial to recognize the importance of seeking help for mental health conditions. Mental health conditions are prevalent, emphasizing the equal significance of prioritizing your mental well-being alongside your physical health.
In certain instances, your primary healthcare provider might recommend a psychiatric care professional upon discussing your symptoms. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can directly approach a psychiatric care professional for a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Mental health episodes may occur randomly, infrequently, or persistently. The key is to recognize that if they have a negative impact on your quality of life, seeking help becomes imperative.
Consider consulting a psychiatric care professional or informing your primary healthcare provider if you experience symptoms or situations that may indicate the need for professional assistance.
